Brad Scott
In this second of four videos, Brad Scott outlines the No Back Play Action Passing Game. His team completed less passes in 2007 than in 2006 (49 vs. 107) but overall passing yardage was similar (1,100 vs. 1,400).The average yards per completion in 2007 (22 ypc) nearly doubled the average yards per completion in 2006. This was a direct result of the play action passing game. Coach Scott shows how the threat of misdirection helps make the play action passing game work which will also improve your running game. And all of this can be accomplished with average high school athletes.
In this video you will learn from Coach Scott:
*The secrets to making the Wildcat Spin No Back Play Action Passing Game successful.
*The importance of misdirection in the Play Action Passing Game.
*How the Play Action Passing Game can improve your running game.
*Five Play Action Passing Game plays: the Arc, Verts, Seam, Arrow, and Slant.
*Alignment, footwork and timing for each play action pass.
*Receiver routes for each play action pass.
*Blocking assignments for each play action pass.
This video contains extensive use of game film analysis. 2008-31 minutes
