Nate Cochran, Blackburn's Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator, details the success of Blackburn's running game with the perfect complements to the Spread Option: the Rocket Sweep, Trap, Lead Dive and Halfback Pass. Coach Cochran explains the blocking assignments for each play against 3, 4. and 5-man fronts. Specifically, with Blackburn's trap play, he analyzes two types of blocking techniques: the Influence Block and Veer Trap Blocking.
