Tom Green
Head Coach, Surrattsville High School
Clinton, MD
WN-08084
Last fall Surrattsville High School (Clinton, MD) finished 10-2, made the playoffs for the first time in the school's history, and averaged 37 points per game. Surrattsville also gained over 3,678 yards in rushing offense. A perfect complement to the running game is the Slip Screen. In this DVD, Head Coach Tom Green explains the advantages of the Slip Screen, the blocking schemes, and using multiple formations to confuse the defense.
In this DVD, you will learn from Coach Green:
* The concept of the Slip Screen with the checks necessary to be successful with this play.
* The advantages of running the Slip Screen.
* Line rules and responsibilities for the Slip Screen.
* Blocking assignments for the Slip Screen vs. man, Cover 2 and Cover 3 defenses.
* Using multiple formations to take advantage of different defenses.
* Implementing an easy-to-use audible system.
* Bonus: What if? How do you use this play effectively if your opponent has better athletes? How do you counter if the defense is overloaded to one side?
Coach Green:
"The slip Screen can be a very effective play for your offense. Everything is based on checks out of defensive alignments. This DVD includes actual plays to use and blocking assignments against different coverages. It can be a positive play for a quarterback who's not a great passer."
This DVD contains extensive game film.
